Awakened by Pattern explores the moment when repetition becomes awareness. The circular movement surrounding the figure reflects the invisible rhythms that shape our lives—cycles of thought, relationships, choices and growth. They return again and again, not to trap us, but to invite us to see them differently.

The portrait rests in quiet confidence. Botanical forms emerge naturally from the figure, while expressive layers of colour and texture create a sense of movement beneath the surface. Every detail becomes part of a larger rhythm, reminding us that awareness often begins with recognising what has always been there.

Created through a layered mixed media process combining acrylics, inks, and textured surfaces, the painting reveals new details from every distance and every angle.
